The CGKR speaks out againThe CGKR (Centrum voor Gelijke Kansen en Racismebestrijding - Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition of Racism) have made themselves heard again: because of the film Fitna they have shouted the following from the roof tops:
"The CGKR strongly condemns the fact that 'Fitna', the film by the Dutch politician Geert Wilders was put online. According to the Centre the film wants to increase fear, distrust and hate against muslims. It is worried about the increase of messages of this nature via emails and films and ask everyone to be vigilant.
Whole community
The Centre rejects the fact the film holds a whole community responsible for extremist violence "with a selective choice of violent images". The Centre reiterates that a whole group of people may not be reduced to extremists and that "most muslims respect and stimulate the democratic values and respect for others". The Centre therefore applauds the openness and the dialogue between the Dutch and Belgian muslim communities. "They illustrate in the best way possible the uselessness and the lies in the quotes and the film by Geert Wilders", concludes the Centre".

Where they get the word 'lies' from is incomprehensible, Wilders only shows images which (often by Arabic TV stations themselves) have already been shown, furthermore they are imagews of things which really happened.
The CGKR does not make a problem of the fact threats were uttered by muslims, as a result of which the film had to be taken offline.
Further, it does not bother that organisation that different channels which show those kinds of instigating picture (and not just for the purpose of illustration like Geert Wilders dat did) are allowed to carry on broadcasting on cable and satellite in our countries, yet 'Fitna' has to be taken offline nor do they have a problem with the fact the AEL (Arabic European League) places a threatening reaction online.
Where the CGKR remains silent is in the case of the African woman who claimed to be the victim of racism in Antwerp, while the facts looked a lot thinner a day later, only to be totally be done away as lies a day later after witnesses and the accused couple were heard.
Where the CGKR would have taken steps immediately had the African lady's story been true, they are now completely silent.
